Vincas Senkus was born in Plunge.
Vincas has started his music career since he
was seven years old. Percussions was the first instrument
that he played. However, after some time he decided to
concentrate on one instrument rather than numerous drums.
Saxophone it was and still is the main instrument Vincas
plays. He learnt the art of it in the Plunge Music School
and after graduating from it, he continued his studies in J.
Svedas Music School of Pedagogy. After that he pursued his
studies in the Faculty of Arts, the University of Klaipeda.
Vincas had an opportunity to learn from well-known
Lithuanian musicians such as P. Narusis, S. Siauciulis and
others. Currently, he is working as a music teacher in the
Music School of Plunge. |
